Care Guide: Material Properties & How to Extend the Life of Your Product

Our shoes are primarily made from richly designed artificial leather and delicate fabrics. To maximize the appeal of these materials and ensure long-lasting, safe use, please read the following information regarding their characteristics and care.
- Road Conditions: Smooth surfaces such as tiles, manhole covers, and marble can become extremely slippery in the rain. Please walk with extreme caution.
- Aging Degradation: Materials (soles, adhesives, surface fabrics) degrade over time regardless of how often they are used. When wearing shoes after several years, please check for sole separation or stickiness.
- Purpose: Our shoes are designed for everyday walking (town use). Using them for sports or strenuous activities may cause injury or damage.
- Heel: Avoid stepping on the heel. This can break the heel counter, deform the shoe, and potentially injure your foot.
Material-Specific Cautions
Artificial Leather / Synthetic Leather (Smooth, Enamel, etc.)
As the surface is polyurethane-coated, waterproof spray is generally not necessary.
※Applying too much spray may cause the surface to become cloudy white. If dirt is a concern, gently wipe with a cloth dampened with water and thoroughly wrung out.
This material is vulnerable to high temperatures, humidity, and direct sunlight. To prevent cracking and stickiness on the surface, store in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Napped Fabric (Velvet, Velour, etc.)
During the "lasting" process to shape the shoe, the fabric is pressed firmly by machine. Therefore, slight flattening or crushing of the nap may occur.
※These are unavoidable phenomena in the manufacturing process and are not defects, so please understand in advance.
Special Fabrics (Fringe, Raw Edges, Lace, etc.)
Fabrics that utilize the rough texture of the material, such as fringe or raw edges, may develop some "fraying" with use.
※Please enjoy the texture as intended by the design. If a long thread appears that bothers you, do not pull it forcibly; cut it with scissors.
Decorative Parts (Bijoux, Buckles, Ribbons)
Decorations are carefully attached one by one, but strong impact or contact during walking may cause them to detach or break. Also, the prongs of jewels may catch on clothing or stockings, so please be careful.
Glitter / Lamé Material
Due to the nature of the material, glitter particles may shed due to friction. Please understand this as an inherent property of the material.
